Hey! I recently graduated from Uni with an overall low first in Law (70% exactly). However, I'm worried that my first-year marks might hold me back on my application to MC and SC firms since I have to list all of them on the application form. Overall, it wasn't too bad. My marks are as follows: 77, 67, 65, 62, 59, and 48. So, I'm concerned about the last two. The 59 was entirely my fault; I didn't understand the module well and didn't seek clarification. Additionally, I rushed the assessment, which wasn't my best effort. As for the 48, I didn't actually fail the module. The module consisted of three parts, and I mistakenly submitted one exam twice, resulting in a 0 for one of the parts. Therefore, my marks for the module were 70, 61, and 0. However, the firms will only see the 48 as that was the overall module mark and I don't know if my silly mistake will sit well with them. My marks for my second and third years were good, though. I received all 2:1s and one First in my second year, and all Firsts and one 2:1 in my third year. Should I be worried about this? Will this weaken my application, or am I overthinking it?
