Driving Test

My Test is in August (17th) and I've had my first lesson today in what must be 2-3mths. Driving instructor said I won't be ready unless I'm doing 3 to 4 hours of driving a week. Only problem is that funds are tight and my father only allows me to drive with him and he's hardly available. I really need to pass so that I can drive myself to work which starts in September....does anybody have any advice or recommendations. And don't tell me I'm cooked, I know 😭

How many hours of lessons did you do prior to the 3 month break?

At least 2-3 hours a week, one of them being with my instructor

Ah, my bad, if I had to guesstimate at least 30 - 50hrs

How confident do you feel. Unless you’re quite confident to be ready I would postpone to allow you to take the lessons needed at an affordable pace. The test is pretty easy to fail even when you are ready and this puts you back to square one anyway. Other thoughts are to try a different instructor or negotiate more time with you father
