IGCSE resit

So I just finished my IGCSEs but I’m currently thinking I may not get the requirement grade for my business studies, but I wanted to choose that for my A-levels next year.So is it possible to do the test again? Without taking year 11 again.(The test is from Edexcel)

Yes, you can resit an exam (either privately or in your school) in June of the next year.

You can retake some Edexcel IGCSE Business in November 2024 or in May/June 2025.

Timetable on the Edexcel web site

You may not be able to study the A level if you have not yet reached the required grade at IGCSE but only your school can confirm that

Will this effect anything? Because the test time is next year and I’m going to start a level year soon

It would kinda affect things. You will have less pressure during ur A-Levels if you don’t resit. But by no means let that stop you resitting it.

So this means even if I resit the exam, it would only change a grade and I won’t be able to do that subject?

You can do that subject but it just means you have less time to concentrate on A-Levels

Okay, so basically I would have 1 year for this subject as the exams happens in may for other subject?
