LSE or Warwick Econ?

Hi guys, so I have currently firmed LSE, and insurance is Warwick, however I visited both unis after (don’t come for me I didn’t have time to go before) and now I feel i may be better suited for a campus uni. Would I be crazy to reject LSE for Warwick?

LSE is much more world famous in America and Asia as well as the Middle East. 🙂

You would be mad to turn down LSE.

Warwick would be better for a MBA or Masters in Finance. 😉

You wouldn't be crazy to do it, people have done it before. LSE has better brand recognition internationally, but, domestically, Warwick graduates do very well. I suppose you have to weigh up the social life aspects (London uni vs campus uni experience) against the career prospects differences, which I would argue are relatively slim. Best of luck!

I went to Warwick for economics and liked the department. It has a great culture and supportive professors. Yes, LSE does have better general recognition, but in terms of career prospects in finance and consulting, as well as entering top master's programmes, Warwick does not have a disadvantage.
They're both strong departments for the subject and both target unis for investment banking if that's a concern, so I think it's perfectly plausible to consider the one over the other.
