Where do you keep your phone in graduation?

Just a girl graduating in a few weeks and just wondering where to keep my phone. Also my hayfever is bad so where can I keep my tissues?

I would say have a little clutch bag or shoulder bag to store your phone or you could give it to your family member or guests who are attending, congratulations by the way!

Hi @Claypotrose,

Congratulations on completing your course! 🎉

When I graduated, I took a small bag with me during the day where I could keep my phone, some makeup and purse. I also had my family with me on the day so I could leave this bag with them during the ceremony.

I hope you have an amazing time at your graduation and all the best for the future.

Congratulations @Claypotrose ! 🥳

When I saw the title of this discussion, I jumped on it straight away as I was also intrigued - aha it may seem like a silly question but it is definitely not and something I haven't thought about before, I will have to remember this for when I hopefully graduate next year! Also I feel you, with the hayfever problems 🙁

What did you study for your degree? And also best of luck in the future!

Hi there,

Congratulation on graduating that is a massive achievement!

I would defiantly say a clutch/some kind of small bag would be a good place to keep your phone and your tissues and anything else you may need on the day. This could also always be left on your seat when you go up to receive your certificate/ when you walk across the stage as you will be going back to the same place. Do double check that is the case though as some graduations happen slightly differently to others.

I hope this helps and congratulations once again on graduating and good luck with the future 😊

Hey!

So I definitely agree with the little bag but if you don’t want the little bag to be in photos and you don’t have anyone to give it to, I’ve seen people put the bag on before their put the robe on. This way, they keep the bag close to them and if you need your phone or hayfever, it might be a little awkward to onlookers but you can just reach in!

P.S. Not for everyone, try it before you commit to it for the ceremony!

Congratulations on graduating 🙂
