Psychology Conversion - UCL or Edinburgh?

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of applying for psychology conversion masters. I have received offers from both UCL and Edinburgh, and will have to make a decision between both institutions.

While I have an idea of specialising in child and adolescent psychology in the long run I'm currently deciding between UCL and Edinburgh. However, I couldn't make up my mind considering how similar all conversion masters are, as these courses are designed to bring all aspects of psychology to students without a psychology background. The main difference between both institutes is that Edinburgh offers additional modules specifically focusing on cognitive and developmental psychopathologies, as well as a separate module for psychotherapy. UCL, on the other hand, offers a more all rounded and generic curriculum which I presumably expect to place more focus on research, like the conversion courses I have applied to in other universities. I'm also aware that the UCL tops the UK and worldwide in psychological studies.

Considering the outstanding research input of both unis the secondary concern would allude to student satisfaction. While I understand that everyone’s experiences and learning styles are different I would still love to hear from current students! If anyone happens to be a past/current student at UCL/ Edinburgh for psychology conversion, would you mind sharing your experiences with the learning at your school?

Thank you everyone in advance and best of luck to other applicants awaiting offers!!
