not going to any taster days??

hi this is mainly towards current sixth formers and maybe other year 11 students in my position right now, is it important to go to college/sixth form taster days?? One of my sixth forms i’ve applied for i also applied for the taster days but was unable to go due to a last minute holiday but now i can’t go to any? So i’m just curious as to if taster days are REALLY important in order to get into college?
