Issues with student finance England online postgraduate application process

Hi I’m just wondering if anything else gets to the address part of the application and then it cuts out saying there is a service issue?

Hi Leah, yes my address is an English one. The message that appears is ‘Sorry, there is an issue with our service. Try again later.’

Thanks. Sorry to hear you are having issues applying online. If you have tried clearing cache and history and/or trying a different device and you are still having issues, the only way to report this would be to contact us directly as we need account access to do this.

If this error continues, then the best option would be to apply on paper and post this in. Thanks, Leah.

Hi Leah, I called yesterday and I’ve followed all the advice you have given as a colleague on the phone told me the same. However, they told me to keep trying the site as they were going to report it.

Hi, we can report the issues if it was logged when you called. But we don't have a timescales for when it would be fixed, so it's up to you. Due to the nature of system issues, it may take a while to resolve, which is why we advised if the error persists to apply on paper. Thanks, Leah.

My son is having a lot of problems submitting additional documents like his passport et cetera having applied already for a post graduate Masters loan for September 2025 and he’s been trying for the last month and he’s very worried that he has missed the deadline. Should he send his documents to the Darlington address?
