Any current Design Tripos students here?

Hi all,
Just finished my GCSEs. I'd like to study design at Cambridge. I have some questions, appreciate any relevant advice or info. Thank you.

1. Maths, FM, Design Tech and Music - Are these A level subjects ok?
2. What is the tech stack like for this course? Would Figma, Adobe illustrator help?
3. What kind of work experience would you recommend?

There aren't any Design students just yet as it's a new course for 2024 entry. Whilst there will be some come October, they would have only just started their degree. Your best bet is to email the relevant departments or the admissions team of the college you're applying to.

To answer your question about A-Level subjects, the only subject requirement listed on the website is Mathematics, which you have. If you're applying to Churchill, you will need Physics too but for other colleges this is not a requirement, according to the entry requirements on the website.
