legal advice for tfl

I got a letter from TFL and I'm slightly confused with what they're asking me, so if anyone can offer some help, I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah, I wrote back to them stating what happened and they gave me a warning and how if smth like this happens again in the next 12 months, im definitely screwed.
But other than that, no charges were pressed.
I do wish I was given proper guidance though, so ig if anyone gets stuck in smth like this, I can help out.

Ah ok glad u got it sorted anyway. Sometimes I wonder if TFL flout the laws themselves, like for example the Post Office did with all the sub postmasters.

The only person who flouted the law here was the OP. He tried to avoid paying a fare. Fare dodging increases the fares paid by honest people.

Plesae help me. I am in the same situation for using a freedom pass. What did your reply to TFL look like?

It was for fare evasion and it's basically saying that I could be prosecuted and it's asking for my details at the back and to either 1. deny allegations, 2. plead guilty and give reasons as to why i shouldn't be prosecuted or 3. produce a photocard for ticket irregularity.
I'd plead guilty and I've read a lot about the situation online but I have no idea what to write at the back and I'd like some personal advice about it.

I was caught using a zip card (sibling) on a single journey between stations. They took the zip card and charged me a penalty fare on the spot which I paid on the spot. They then said I'd receive a letter saying I'd paid the fare but I've had no such letter, and I don't know if they're going to do anything else since they've taken the card away or if I can order a new one for my brother because he uses it.

The penalty fare on the spot is good in the sense that you get it sorted then and there. It took me a good month to sort this because of the back and forth letters, and my anxiety was up there regarding this (also bc it would've had such big effects on me) but after all of it, I just got a warning.
The letter might come soon, idk how long it's been for you, but it could just be delayed as they process it. Once you get that letter, I'd say try and order a new zip for your brother, but i'm not sure if he'll be able to get one. I think he would and I think you should try but I'm not 100% sure.
