Diploma of higher education to degree

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone can advise me. I've a diploma of higher education in nursing. I didn't recieve student finance for this. I am looking at doing a degree either in Accounting or Speech and language therapy.

Can anyone tell me if I would get funding from SFE to do a degree? I do not hold a degree qualification.

Hi Dippy84,

Speech and Language Therapy is an Allied Health Professional course therefore is an exception to previous study rules, therefore you would be eligible for support. Accounting is not an exception therefore we would take your previous study into account. Can you confirm how many years you studied for your HND?
