Is 60 a terrible score?

I am a penultimate (finished) economics student in Durham, and I got my exam results a couple of days ago, and the average happened to be an exact 60, which should be a bare upper second, with some decent score in the econometrics and finance module (over 70), and I got a particularly terrible score in Marcoeconomics (not even 50). I got 2 internships and an asset allocation competition and wrote a report with teammates. Is applying to MSc programs in Economics at universities like G5, Warwick, or Durham possible? I am so worried about it and I don't even know if I can apply to good programs...(PS: I don't even know how to say this to my parents...)

Well, I wouldn't say it's the best score, but it's good enough.

If you want to apply for certain MScs, 60 is OK. You would have problems getting into places such as Oxford (70% minimum), Manchester, and Warwick though (at least 65%). You should be fine for places like UCL, LSE, Durham, etc.

I think it depends on the individual uni and what specific course you are applying for.
