Is History, Politics and Economics at UCL worth it?

UCL is a target/semi target school and an economic degree is useful
it's probably slightly more useful that a more arts-focused degree, and slightly less useful than a stem one, but academic discipline is not all that important in finance

I'm in my last year of school and interested in History, Politics and Economics, I originally wanted to study Econ or mathematics but I won't meet entry requirements as most good unis ask for a 7 in maths hl. I want to get into banking/finance/consulting but I'm also really interested in history and politics.
I don't know if this course would open a path for the career I want and I was wondering if anybody that did this or something similar could share their experience?
