is it normal for teenage girls to vape?
Normal, maybe. Illegal, definitely, when you're under 18yo.

It might be, but that doesn't make it ok. Don't vape because there are many dangers that even vape producers don't know about

It's unfortunately become quite common for teenage girls to vape these days, but that doesn't mean it should be normalized. While vaping may seem trendy or harmless, it's important for teenagers to prioritize their health and avoid habits that could lead to long-term consequences. Encouraging healthier alternatives and open conversations about vaping risks are crucial for young people's well-being.

Nicotine is still addictive and harmful even in a vape.

Just to clarify nicotine itself is not harmful, but all those chemicals they add to it definitely are. 7 months off cigs and nicotine and I have never felt better. OP I'd advise you to get off the nicotine as well.

if i were you i’d do some actual research, nicotine itself IS harmful and can have lifelong impacts on cognitive functioning esp for people under 25. it also raises ur blood pressure and increases ur risk of having a stroke or heart attack lol

yes, the other stuff in vapes/cigs cause damage eg. tar building up and causing lung cancer, but the nicotine itself has an impact too

I guess but I wouldn't recommend it

i can understand why people stay hooked on it but i don't understand why people do it; changing societal norms, peer pressure, it feels good, it looks cool ? (friends are doing it so on so forth)
alr then i just probably answered my own question. truth is, op, to be blunt, to be frank, to be absolutely brutally honest, the question itself is actually fallacious in its nature. no it is not normal for teenage girls to vape; isn't the age limit on those things what; 18? i presume you mean 14 15 16 17; 18, 19 to be referred as teenagers isn't that many more years after the legal age. vaping is dangerous, as is smoking. it poses health effects of which it warns the users of on the packs. just because the majority are doing it, does not make it, "normal".
now, is it, okay, or, alright, for teenage girls to vape? no, it is not either, due to the aforementioned above, but, it changes nature of the whole question (though I get what you were trying to get at anyway). don't do it, it's addictive, you want to live long don't you? (i mean idm tbh but the general consensus is that most people want to).

Normal? I guess, since it's everywhere. Recommended? Hell no. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who cares just a bit about their health, girl or boy. Speaking from my own experience as someone who vapes (trying out a premium CBD Liquid as I write this, lol), I believe it's definitely better to not vape than to vape

Keep in mind that they also add glycerin and other additives, which haven't been thoroughly researched, so we don’t really know how they’ll affect your body over time. I read that one guy ended up with something like solid plastic in his lungs. I hope it’s just a scare story, but I wouldn’t recommend vaping if you care about your health

I think it’s okay for teens to vape, especially when you compare it to smoking cigarettes, which are generally worse for your health. I started vaping at 16 from dampfi.ch. The flavors make it a lot more appealing, and I feel better knowing I'm not inhaling all the harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes.

It's increasingly common for teenage girls to vape, as vaping has gained popularity among young people over the past few years. Many teens perceive vaping as a safer alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes, but it’s important to recognize that vaping still poses significant health risks. The flavored e-liquids can be enticing, but they often contain nicotine and other harmful substances that can affect lung health and overall well-being.
If you or someone you know has been vaping regularly, it might be a good idea to get a lung scan, especially if there are any concerns about respiratory health. A lung scan can help detect any potential damage or issues early on, allowing for timely intervention if necessary. It’s always better to be proactive about health, particularly during the teenage years when the body is still developing. Encouraging open conversations about the risks of vaping and supporting healthier choices can make a big difference in the long run.

vaping’s actually more harmful than cigs for teens because the chemicals in vapes have a greater impact on neurodevelopment 🫠

if we were talking about adults with a fully developed frontal cortex then yes sure vapes are much less harmful, but that doesn’t also apply to teens & young adults

I never thought quitting vaping would be this hard, but I knew I had to stop. My chest felt tight, my stamina was gone, and I hated how dependent I was on it.
What helped? PuffStats—seeing my progress in real time made a huge difference. Every day without vaping, my lungs were healing, my cravings got weaker, and my body felt stronger.
I kept my hands busy with gum, water, even just holding a pen. The first few days were rough, but once I got through that, it got easier. Now, I breathe better, feel better, and don’t even think about it anymore.
If you're trying to quit—you got this.
