Can someone stop BOOHOO Freshers Event/ we love SCAM?

lately? My friends and I were all excited about these exclusive after-exam flash deals they kept advertising, but it turns out they never actually sell out. It feels like they're just trying to create fake hype to get more attention. It's super annoying because we were all really looking forward to it, only to find out it's all a scam.

And don't even get me started on the spam! Boohoo has been bombarding us with messages on WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Instagram. It's not just me either; even my coursemates are getting flooded with these messages. It's like they're trying to be everywhere all the time, and it's seriously intrusive. I'm getting so fed up with constantly having to delete their messages.

** Also, WATCH OUT if you get random messages from people asking you to join their "uni group" or "We are doing a night out at spoons/ big pres / with the girls etc!!. They are all faked accounts!!

It's almost always linked back to Boohoo trying to sell something. If you see this happening, just be careful and don't fall for it. It's just another one of their tricks to suck you in. Let's all stay alert and not let them take advantage of us!

You could look into complaining to the Advertising Standards Authority -- https://www.asa.org.uk/make-a-complaint.html -- though it probably won't achieve much.
