Year 12 predicted grades

Can I still apply for medicine if I’m year 12 UCAS grades are A*AB, if the B is in Chemistry? I haven’t taken the ucat yet, and I am eligible for some contextual offers, Newcastle, Exeter, ect. I also do EPQ.

Unfortunately, I know a lot of med schools really want an A at least in chemistry, but it might be possible with the EPQ and if you get a good UCAT score. I wouldn't count you out but you're probably at a disadvantage. Is one of your other subjects Biology? If so that would help your chances somewhat

Check as couple of universities don’t look at predicted grades ( like Nottingham) not sure how many but there was 4 or more.

Then also check Sheffield and HullYork as they give lower grades for EPQ holder .

Last check as contextual to some universities do they allow you to apply with your lower contextual grade. I know that Newcastle allows students to apply if you have BBB as that was the contextual offer.

Good luck and research all the universities as you have options.

You need to look like Exeter there one is AAC but the C should be in ur 3rd subject but someone school would be fine with that
