Age of the Crusades (1071-1204) aqa A-level history - is it interesting/okay?

I'm in year 11 and have just finished my exams. I'm supposed to pick my subjects for A-level on my results day and I've really loved history at GCSE so I want to take it for A-level too.

The topics would be: Age of the Crusades for paper 1, the Making of Modern Britain for paper 2 and 20th century Russia for coursework.

Both paper 2 and the coursework seem very interesting to me but I'm unsure about The Age of the Crusades and want to know how other people have found that topic. Any info about the other topics would also be useful too as well as general opinions on A-level history and what I should expect.

Thanks so much
Heyy,
I’ve just done my a levels and did both crusades and modern Britain. They’re both extremely fun, but also very content intensive. Modern Britain is very detailed and it gives you a really in depth overview of what Britain was like from Attlee too Blair. Personally modern Britain was my favourite. One bit of advice I would strong recommend is start early and as soon as you start the course. Do practise practice papers. Learn the dates. Learn the content and understand it, it will be so useful. Do essay plans and do essays and take them to your teachers.
I’ve made some resources, which I’m selling online, however I suggest you can also make your owns. If you want to talk more about this or need more information let me know!
