Yes, partially. I am a student currently (going into my final year), however, when I was in first year it was covid times and a lot of things were remote (online lectures etc.). Now there r lectures in-person and everything. For first year I think you’ll have lectures on a bi-weekly basis and then during the other week you’ll have either a split of Mon+Tues labs 9-4 and Thursday/Friday (one of those days) 3 hour tutorials in organic, inorganic and physical (1 per hour). You’ll have a busy week during lectures as in first year I remember there being more lectures bc u r exposed to more content but in less detail I.e. the fundamental stuff but not in super complicated detail. I have to say that a lot of ppl did not like physical when they joined as they throw u in the deep end and discuss topics based on quantum chemistry. It’s honestly not that hard but you will need to make sure u attend lectures and keep up to date w the work load. Good luck and remember this piece of advice, although first year only account for 7.5 % of the whole degree (if ur on a 4 year Msci course [forgot the 3 year total]) it goes into detail about the fundamentals that you’ll need later on so make sure to pay attention
