Is the 2007 automatic petrol Chevrolet Matiz a good car?
Hello, I'm interested in buying a 2007 auto petrol Chevrolet Matiz because of it's low insurance costs but it only has 51 hp and a 0.8L engine. If anyone has this car or has some knowledge about it, please tell me if it's a good first car and how fuel efficient it is. 🙂

If it is your first car, and you plan on only doing short journeys, the car should be good enough. If you plan on commuting to work every day or travelling long distances, I would go with a second hand Golf TDI from pre 2010s as they are the most reliable cars I have ever seen.
Personally, I would always go for cheap Golfs because they are really reliable, have low road tax and insurance isn't too high.

Yes and I'm 18. I'll be using it to go to my apprenticeship when I get one.

I wouldn't go with the chevvy then. I might go for a second hand VW Polo which can handle long distances better and are a cheaper version of the golf. Insurance shouldn't be too high either
