I'm on my gap year and was thinking of doing general studies in June (A level) to kick my mind back into action.
I was just going to teach it to myself.

Just wondering what board is the best/easiest, OCR, AQA? and which specification A or B?
It's all slightly confusing as we don't do general studies in N.Ireland.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Patrick.

There is no need to teach yourself. Just do past papers. I would go with AQA specification A. If you won't to follow a specific exam board and spec you need to search around the school/college.

Nurgh! You're doing general studies of your own free will?!

(Well I suppose I can't talk, I started up Maths this year with the view to finish it off in my Gap.)

But all the same! Blurgh! :p:

You're better off doing AQA A cos its easier. With AQA B you have to do essays, whilst A involves mainly multiple choice. If u do AQA u get all the past papers for free!
