You can go to uni with a BTEC in health and social care. The more appropriate question is in what.

I don't know what your aspirations are, so it's difficult to recommend specific degrees or courses if you don't have a specific subject or career in mind. I am also against the idea of doing a degree for the sake of doing a degree; you should really have some end goal(s) in mind prior to doing a degree.

Should you ever need to, you have the option to resit your GCSEs and do further level 3 qualifications.

I want to be a nursery assistant but my teachers in college discourage me because how very shy i am, one of them said i just just do art instead. I tend to take a lot of time to get comfortable. I do level 2 and i go placement am fine there with the teachers and children but am scared talking to parents , i like to work with children but at this point i don't know am trying my best..

Then I am not sure whether you should become an nursery assistant. Even if you have all the necessary qualifications, you might not get accepted for the job if you're not suited for the role.

On the upside, you only need GCSEs in order to become a nursery assistant. See the following: https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/job-profiles/nursery-worker
A degree by any account is overkill for the above.
Should you need to, I recommend resitting your GCSEs to get what you need in Maths and English Language (this should be free at an adult college).

Should you wish to become a child psychologist, paediatrician, or teacher, then I can see the point in doing a degree (although they should be specific degrees and not any random subjects).

In any case, I would still recommend finishing your BTEC Level 3 before doing anything else.

Then it's up to you whether you do Level 3. Do note, once you have done it, you won't be eligible for any further free courses at Level 3, so if you do it make sure it's something you actually need.

If you don't need to do the Level 3 course, then give it a skip. (Sorry for the confusion by the way.)

The more important qualifications to become a nursery assistant are your GCSEs. Make sure you have at least 4s in your English and Maths to open as many doors as you can.
In the meantime, I don't think it would hurt to just apply for nursery assistant jobs as you are.

Do resits when you're ready.

If you are not getting the grades, consider a different approach to your study and revision.
