living cost financing

I will be studying for a master's degree. I am planning to apply for a Master's Loan. Can I apply for funding for living costs?

HI there. Can you confirm the full name of the new course and university? Will the new course be full time or part time? How many years will it be? When does the new course start? Thanks, Leah.

Hi there. You can apply for up to a maximum of £12,471 in 24/25 for the Postgraduate Masters Loan.

It's a contribution based loan to help with the costs of your studies, which is paid directly to you.

Postgraduate do not offer a specific Maintenance Loan or Tuition Fee. It's up to the students discretion how they want to use the Loan. Thanks, Leah.

Hello. Thanks for the answer. I understood that postgraduate students cannot apply for living cost/ Is that correct?
I have one more question. Student Funding has confirmed my Student Loan application. This will be paid in 6 payments over two years (I have a two-year course). I am very grateful for the support and help. I would like to ask. Can I somehow change the payment schedule? And how to do it? Reason. fees my first year of study £9,900 and fees my second year, Placement year, is only £1,530 (for the second year I have to pay in advance). So in the first year I will be short about £4000 and in the second year I will have more money than I need. I would be grateful for any advice on how to change the payment schedule.
Many thanks,
Tania

Hi Tetiana Kysliak,

The payment scheduled can't be changed as it is paid in line with each of your term start dates.

Thanks, Clare
