I have studied business management, the hire I have achieved a degree
I now changed my mined and really like to persuade a carrier in health and I want to do a nursing degree
It’s confusing if I can get or not support from Dufent finance if I already have a degree!

Apologies for the typing errors
So to clarify I have a degree in business management, and lately I have realized a careeer in health is what I desire!
I need to find out if there will be possible to get support from student finance if this is a second degree?!
Hi there 👋

You are typically only eligible for student finance during your first degree. If I was you, though, I'd consider reaching out to student finance directly to discuss your circumstances and explore what other funding may be available to you.

Any time 😊
Certain degrees are entitled to funding as a second degree by Student Finance England, these are called "exception courses".
Currently as far as I am aware, nursing is an exception course and you would be entitled to funding as a second degree. I would recommend you contact SFE for confirmation the specific course you want to apply to is an exception course. You should provide them with the course name, institution, and course code if available.

If you post in the ask student finance england area with a specific degree and university then they’ll let you know if it’s an exception course.

Almost every nursing degree will be funded as a second degree (and you also might have the option to study a postgraduate nursing degree to qualify quicker)

Yes if you wish to pursue nursing. I am a primary school teacher and just had my finance approved as it's on the list for second degrees for funding. Hope this helps 🙏
