Extra Year Student Finance - has it been accepted?

I applied for an extra year of Student finance due to Compelling personal reasons. I only had one year of finance left and have applied to go into year 2 of a 3 year degree, including my CPR letter in my student finance application.
I've just had my finance confirmed for the course going into year 2.
Does this mean they've accepted my reason and are giving me the extra year funding?
I've been on hold on the phone but had to end call as my son needed picking up!

Hi crijjy,

If the letter shows that the Tuition Fee Loan has been awarded then yes, it would seem that it has been accepted. You should also have received an email to your contact email address from an assessor that confirms that your CPR evidence was accepted.
