Calling all Year 11 and 13 students! :wavey:

With exams finally behind you, we're curious: did they measure up to your expectations? :K:

Were they a breeze, tougher than you thought, or just what you anticipated? You might feel like you sailed through or found them a little more of a challenge, chances are you're not alone in your thinking!

So, take your vote and join the discussion below :albertein: We can't wait to hear all about it
I don't really know what I expected and I don't really know how hard my exams were.

Maybe that's a good thing, right? 🙂

All three of my psychology papers were surprisingly easy - no niche topics or strange questions at all... breezed through it!
I was prepared for virtually any question for my English literature papers (since it's my chosen uni course for September), but I did find the topics of the questions quite simplistic - though not impossible to give nuanced responses to. I was very pleased with those.
French I always find the most difficult of them but my speaking exam went EXTREMELY well (since I got my strongest topic for Task 1). Papers 2 and 3 I would say went rather as expected.

My Maths exams were as expected, paper 1 seemed very hard but that might have been because I was having a rough day anyway (it look me like 3 hours to finish in the end despite it being a 1 hour 30 exam). Papers 2 and 3 were chill and easier than I thought.
Both English Lit papers were so much easier than I expected, most of the questions I’d already done of specimens or in class.
The English language papers were quite good, cant complain.
Both the Biology papers were as expected, too many 5/6 markers though.
Chemistry paper 1 was much easier than expected, paper 2 was hell for me- too many C8 questions which I barely revised.
Both the Physics papers were a lot easier than I thought they would be.
The Spanish papers were as expected, the reading was harder than I thought but listening wasn’t as bad as I feared so I hope they average themselves out and the writing was great so over the three papers I hope I did okay.
History paper 1 was harder than I thought, I really mucked up 2 questions on that. The other two papers I concerningly finished with time to spare, I usually write right up to the last second so that had me worried!
The politics papers were hell and Im doomed for my grade but at least I never have to think about them again!
Art was a bit better than expected, I finished with just over 2.5 hours to go and just didn’t go back to the exam, spent the rest of the day just chilling because I didn’t want to go to my lesson so that was fun.
Hope everyone else’s exams went great

Majority of the exams were better than I expected and overall I'm pleased with how they went but there were a few papers were they were harder than mocks but i guess we'll just wait till results day

(Does anyone have any career paths I can follow that are predominantly science related)

Well done for getting through it everyone, we hope you manage to enjoy some down-time over the summer!

I just want to ask, how did you find TSR helped you with preparing for or getting through your exams? was it the community? the resources? please share  it would be great to hear your thoughts!

the community and the support it provided during exams was amazing and it's so comforting to find others who are feeling the same way and also provide advice and help to each other

I found the study together sessions helpful to motivate me to do some revision on tiring days.
