Bike at uni (Warwick/Notts)

I'm starting uni in September, probably either Warwick or Nottingham and I have no idea whether I should be planning on taking a bike or not?

Have you checked what bike storage facilities there are at both? The distance you would likely have to travel between accomodation and the universities?

Hi @yugo1o
I'd firstly ask the university if they have an storage facilities close to the accommodation for your bike. It might be useful if you have to commute to lectures, however if your applying to a campus universities its likely that most things will be in walking distance.
Hope this helps!

Hello @yogo1o !

A lot of students and personnel that work at University of Nottingham do cycle to get to campus. There are a number of bike sheds where you can leave your bike during the day. The city has also a network of cycle routes, so that it is perfectly feasible to use a bike to commute to university (and arguably more convenient than taking the bus/walking).

The following link provides with more information in relation to the cycles facilities of the university: Cycle Facilities
