Norwich accommodation

Hello , I need help , I have just completed a foundation year and am going into first year however I lived in halls first year but now want to go private in the city. But I have no idea which accommodation in the city I should go for. The options are : crown place, pablo fanque, st crispins Yugo , Benedicts gate. Please give me some advice or personal experiences. E.g. which one would be better for my social life since I want to get into clubbing and going out Bcs I missed freshers week in my foundation year , what’s the quality of the life like , u also go to UEA so what is the ratio between NUA and UEA students and would that be something I should consider, what’s the ratio of home to international students as I would prefer to be living with home students bcs I will relate more to them. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you !

Hi @redjelly21

Well done for finishing your foundation year!

From my personal experience I have heard great things about the social life at Pablo Fanque house however, I think it depends who you are grouped with. I would definitely recommend attending freshers week this year as it is a great opportunity to meet new people and attend clubs with similar interests i.e clubbing.

I ended up with a slightly quieter flat in my first year but attending society clubs really allowed me to enjoy my year and make lots of friends. So please do not worry 😊

In terms of the ratio of UEA students to NUA it might be worth discussing with our admissions team here, any other questions please do get in touch !

Hey! You mentioned that you want to go live in the city, have you found any accommodation? If not, I have a booking in crown place but I can’t occupy it due to deferment…

would you be interested in taking over? Or perhaps know anyone that would be?
