I need an AAB with a B in computer science
I'm scared that I'll get something like a BBC or ABC for my actual results
I'm worried if I won't get in :frown:( has anyone got lower grades than the requirements and still got offered a place?

Hi there,

Thanks for your question. We know that waiting for and receiving exam results can be a stressful time.

If you are holding a conditional firm offer with us and you meet your conditions, you'll be accepted and see this on your UCAS Hub once results are released. If you don't quite meet the entry requirements of your offer, in some cases we can still accept you and this would show on your UCAS Hub on results day. In other cases, we might offer you a different course instead. If we can't accept you, you may wish to consider other universities in Clearing. It's really important to stay calm and take time to consider your options if this is the case.

You can find lots of useful information about preparing for results day on the UCAS website. Wishing you the best of luck! 🙂

I’ve seen a few people get in with lower requirements, universities will consider :any extenuating circumstances, illnesses during the exams or general disruption, furthermore they may view your overall academic profile as a whole. My advice would be to contact your firm and insurance universities regarding this if you suffered from any of those aforementioned. Some of my mates got rejected from ‘special consideration’ for a level exams but had contacted universities beforehand. Good luck

How did both of you do in the exams? Hope you both had better grades and got in the Uni? Please update, I have applied for 2025 intake with AAB conditional while my predicted grades are AAC ☹️
