Advise on Charles University Prague - second faculty medicine

Hi, I am from UK and got an offer from Charles University second faculty, if anyone knows or studies there please would you be able to share your experience.
I also have an offer from European university Cyprus, Frankfurt branch in Germany. I am very confused between the two ? I am aware that the fees for Frankfurt is more but if we keep that aside what would you advise ?
Other main difference is Charles is of course an old uni whereas the Frankfurt campus only started in 2022 !

Charles 2nd faculty is very good university, have good teaching program, the professors there are really helpful, so I really recommend it

Not heard anything like this, pass rate for Charles first faculty is very low !

Fees varies between the faculties, first faculty is the most expensive one, second faculty will cost me around £14000 per year and I guess another £9000-£10000 for accommodation, food plus other expenses

Hey same i am planning on attending the Second faculty in 2025 i have my exam scheduled in jan in my country i have read a lot of things about the faculty on reddit but they are negatives and like how difficult the course is all i wanna know are these just some personal opinions or its like hard generally anyways i would love to know more about the faculty and i m open to make friends as well 🥰

I go to second faculty of medicine and i really wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Im currently looking to transfer somewhere after third year. Please read reviews about it online! Yes most are negative but for good reason! Pass rate is very low each year- some might say that this is the case for every med school but at second fac its just ridiculous! Plus we have to teach ourselves almost everything because the teaching is notoriously lazy for most of the departments. Some of us are lucky in situations where this self-teaching and reliance on youtube and outside resources is enough to allow us to pass but i cant say the same for everyone. There is obvious disparity between the english and czech parallel where they have more and better teaching resources and the language barrier puts us as a disadvantage in the hospitals where majority of the nurses cant speak english and dont want to deal with us internationals giving us borderline xenophobic treatment.
If you’re considering Czech Republic avoid first and second faculty at all costs!

I go to second faculty and i honestly wouldn’t recommend it! Three years ago i was in the same situation as yourself, seeing multiple negative comments about it and disregarding them but I honestly wish I listened to them now! If you don't want to go to a university where passing is purely reliant on teaching yourself and receiving leaks/notes from upper year students, where the professors are downright lazy and make passing so difficult, using hard testing methods such as powerpoint pictures that disappear forever after 5 seconds, where a single examiner can determine whether you pass of fail, whose decision cant be reversed and with no regulatory body to oversee the fairness of his or her judgement, where you constantly feel like fish out of water because of the language barrier, then please dont go to this university. Take reddit posts and comments with a grain of salt but when most of them are urging people not to go there’s truth to that! I wish you good luck in making your decision

I am in first year can you please help. It’s only been a month and I am overwhelmed with the content and the weekly exams, can you please help how to get through first year ?
I can’t afford to fail ! My parents have taken loan for my studies.I got a muscle test next week and the way they test with the question on screen with 5 seconds is absolutely ridiculous and not sure how to get through it, I am completely stuck please help 🙏🏼
