Is there a way to get into a Medicine degree with a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science?

It depends on what you mean by Medicine degree. If you want to go to medical school to study a typical five-year degree in Medicine and finish with a BMBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), you will need to research entry requirements that different medical schools offer, but most medical schools ask for A Levels. You would need to check if some accept BTEC level 3 qualifications.

If you were looking wider than Medicine, for example, degrees into Nursing, Paramedic Science, Diagnostic Radiography etc, most universities will accept a BTEC Level 3 and will advise what grade they are looking for 🙂 Some will convert this grade into UCAS points using the UCAS tariff calculator, so you can see if you meet the entry requirements that way too.

I would prefer to go the BMBS route. Do you know which universities may accept decent GCSEs and BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma?

You will need to research this, as some universities might accept BTEC but it depends on how they accept it (i.e in lieu of one A Level, but again this depends on the university and the BTEC qualification)
