Big 4 Risk Assurance vs Top 10 Accounting firm - CF - Mergers and Acquisitions

I have got offers for both Big 4 Risk Assurance and for Corporate Finance - M&A at a top 10 firm, not big 4, one of the other 6, and was wondering if the long term goal is to be involved in mergers and acquisitions, strategy consulting and the like, which would be better to go for?

This might sound stupid but during discussion of this topic various people have said it may be easier to transfer to CF in big 4 after the graduate programme from risk assurance having already been in the organisation, rather than from the middle market firm even though the experience is what they’d be looking for.

Would love peoples opinions on this, would exit opportunities be better into the m&a, strategy world from the middle market firm because the experience is more on point, or would the prestige of big 4 carry me further in the process even though the experience isn’t specifically relevant. Both also offer ACA, and CF I can choose between ACA and ACCA, would love peoples opinions on this also!

Thank you very much!
