I was 9yrs old so in primary school at the time. My teacher put on the radio to listen for updates. When my mum picked me up from school, they had footage playing on a screen in the local Spar. Went home and immediately my parents put it on the TV too.

I see...It was really scary back then.

Well, after the pandemic you get blase, but when the world trade center collapsed it came out of the blue. There were few who expected it. You were pulled out of something very quickly, and then suddenly you were in a different world.

How many of you were old enough back then to remember it in vivid details?

I was in Lyon France watching TV at a friend's place when the news about the crashes came. I dumbly thought that it was like a teasing for the latest Hollywood blockbuster or something.
