Still don't know what to do after a levels

Hi, I hope I'm asking this in the right section but basically I'm still unsure on what I should do after A Levels. It's been a little over a while now since I've finished with all my exams and I feel so unproductive still not knowing what to do. I'm not really interested in anything particular and I'm so indecisive with possible ideas.

For my a levels, I did Sociology, Film Studies and English and enjoyed English the most out of the three. However when I look into courses or careers related to it, it doesn't appeal to me as much. Journalism is kind of a last resort option, it's intrigued me a bit but university is something I'm not too keen on due to distances, travel and money. Apprenticeships are all too far from where I live and are mostly STEM subject related which I don't enjoy personally.

My family are also giving me a hard time with it too making me even more stressed out and panicked. Originally, I was thinking of getting a part time job somewhere local and seeing how things go from there but my family are saying I'm wasting my qualifications if I work somewhere like tescos stocking shelves. At this point, I'm tempted to repeat year 13... It doesn't help that I have really bad social anxiety and find it difficult to go to new places. The career advisors at school weren't exactly helpful too and just said it's normal to not know what to do yet :frown:

I feel so lonely and annoyed not knowing what to do, everyone around me has got their life sorted out and I'm still stuck in one place. I would really appreciate your help and advice. Thank you!
