NTU Attendance

Just wondering if there is a minimum required attendance and what would happen if someone was to fall below that?

Hi,

For international students, we have a set attendance policy as per Student visa responsibilities which you can find details about here.

For UK students, there is no "minimum" required attendance. However, each academic school follows a set of attendance policies that set out the expectations and criteria for student attendance. These include attending activities which form part of your Course, such as lectures, training, tutorials, examinations and other activities (subject to absence for genuine medical reasons or other circumstances acceptable to the University).

Strong attendance is generally found to lead to better academic performance. Low attendance without acceptable circumstances would likely lead to a review or meetings with your academic tutor to address this.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions!

Best wishes,
