Does Cambridge really care about GCSE scores for Archaeology degree?

Hey everyone, I discovered that I am super passionate about archaeology and ancient history after choosing Classics for one of my A-Levels just for fun (I'm coming to the end of my first year btw) and without really thinking too hard about it. Because of this, I was really undecided about what I wanted to do this time last year so kinda bombed my GCSEs (all 5s and 6s).

Now I want to go to Cambridge to study Archaeology and have been doing well in my A-Levels (currently predicted A* AA) and have taken Latin as an AS level as well as joining historical societies and volunteering ect.

Are my poor GCSEs really going to affect my chances that much when I'm pretty set in every other regard?? also would it be worth retaking them?? Thanks
