Clearing prior to results day

Hi,

I am student who took a gap year and decided I wanted to go into midwifery- I finished my application for UCAS but my reference wont be able to submit in time for the deadline so will have to go through clearing which opens the 5th july. If i go through clearing earlier than the results day, do I still ring the university/ is the process any different to regular clearing?

You still need to phone to check that Midwifery is actually open and that they will accept your application before you submit your Clearing application simply to save time and not waste any chances.
