Feelings

Hi,
Recently I feel like all my thoughts and feelings have been hitting me really hard. I've summarised it in my head to feeling like I'm getting repeatedly hit by a bus with the onslaught of thoughts and stress. I have no idea how to help this as other stress reducing methods haven't worked for me or I'm too stressed to use them if that makes sense. I know it sounds stupid and that I'm just being lazy and choosing not to use the methods but I genuinely can't. I don't know why. I also feel like it affects not only me, but others because as I get stressed I start messaging people more and asking something before turning it on it's head as I think it's stupid and I think it's making people annoyed and I feel like I can't talk to anyone anymore. I'm also honestly scared about where my thoughts might take me and what I will do as an extension of the thoughts.
It's stupid I think and I don't know exactly what I'm asking and why I'm asking this but if anyone has any advice or something for me, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Can you give some background on your life and what’s going on perhaps ?🙂

My thoughts eat me up when I have a lot of free time or don’t communicate with people I like.

I'm in sixth form, just finished as exams and mocks. I'm pretty busy so I do stuff most days of the week and whenever I have nothing to do my brain seems to like to think a lot. I also have a friend who I might get into a relationship with at some point but he works so he is tired and we haven't met in ages and don't talk very often anymore. When we do meet though, we're close. Otherwise not much I guess. Had some drama a while back. I have recently been told I might have anxiety and need to get blood tests done but I haven't called back for an appointment because of things people have said about being diagnosed with anxiety or depression.

Ok thanks - well firstly this is not unusual and a heavy thinker too I totally understand actually . I’ve recommended before but a good book or audio book to begin with is ekhart tolle power of now - and I can recommend hundreds that will tell you why the mind does what it does to you and the mechanics of that.
Any drama in your life will play into the hands of the “pain body” which loves to use the mind activity to mess You up and create more pain - sound familiar ?
Another word of advice - smart phones have now been proven to whip up every bad anxiety causing drop of shite they can with constant over stimulation and notification possible - so if you can’t bin it then turn it off - turn off notifications and if your not willing to do something like model trains like me then do something real that doesn’t involve bookface instashite or tickcrap 😉 .
Your not alone - the whole of the human race has a mind problem but slot of
People are dimmed down so don’t recognise it or even think at all - and are more like drones or virtual people but be glad your not with them ) let me know your thoughts too happy to be there for you as we all are

I've started reading more, but it's mostly school stuff as I started the further reading too late so it's mostly school reading and even recently I've started losing interest in reading even, which I hate as I used to read several books a day.
Yeah even small things like not being able to meet with someone or something coming up causes me stress and makes me feel bad.
When I had the drama going on, I often paused my notifications because it made me feel bad so I stopped reading my notifications for a day or so and then came back to it. I know it's not much. I'll definitely try to.
That's very true. I'm glad to be able to think but sometimes it's pretty tiring to have to deal with 24/7.
Thanks for your advice 🙂 I think it helped and I'll definitely try to do some of what you said.

Ok well that’s great it helped and pleased don’t hesitate to ask further questions if you need to 🙂 . The mind is a very complex thing to tame and there’s a lot of reasons why it’s the way it is and has become like it has for most of us.
The world as we know it today certainly for western cultures is noisy and chaotic , smart phones have made it worse and AI will probably make it worse again so being calm And collected with time outs is a must 🙂 . Feel free to pm if you wish too . Ian

Yeah I don't understand why my brain decides to be stupid lol. I did have an appointment recently and I might be getting a diagnosis for anxiety but I have to go back to get a blood test which I haven't done. My problem is I have heard lots of people saying they regret getting diagnosed in a way because of the way they get treated by people who know and how it affects your future life and I don't want it to end up having negative affects on how people see me in the future. Although on the other side I think I do need to go back as the symptoms are getting harder to live with.
I'm definitely going to start stepping back more as I think I have a headache simply from the light off technology and it's not fun.
Thanks for your help and replying though I appreciate it 🙂

ok so these labels that over paid and job creation generation behavioral theropists areBQ RSTUV WS giving are not always helping. Your now alone in having mind chaos - most of the worlds humans have it. Keep that in mind, and look how distracted everyone is, how many people do you know that truly listen to you when u talk to them, and turn the phone notifications off? How many people do you know that could sit for 2 minutes and do nothing staring at a wall ..... probably none other that a few yogis i know off.
Please dont go talking to these idiots too much, just because they have a Docterate in behaviral science or studied for 10 years while the rest of us pay their fees - which they will never pay back btw - doesnt mean they know anything about the mind / spititualism or just simple human nature. Sorry for the rant, but 30 years ago not everyone was labelled with anxiety or ADHD or LBTQWXYZ - we just got on with it becuase we had to. Yes theres spectrum - its call humans and insanity is now being seen for what it is.....
