teacher denied my nea idea

im currently at the stage of making a project idea and my original one was a project that is something like an outfit creator. it would have a stickman or whatever and the user would be able to use arrows to toggle the shirt, trouser or shoe to different ones. my teacher said it was too complex and should just make some database project, but i wanna do something i like but is it worth?
