Foundation at Oxford or at Mountview

Hi,
If anyone can provide details about Oxford foundation and mountviews cert He, about the courses or any pros and cons a prospective student should know.
I have offers from both Oxford and Mountview for their foundation and cert He courses respectively. I have already accepted my place from Oxford about 4 months ago and this completely hit me as I had done an interview a few weeks ago but did not expect an offer at all. I was looking to find accommodation nearby with other students but it is expensive and I am struggling a little. It is also self funded whereas I can get funding for Mountview. On the other hand I feel like I enjoyed the audition and the environment and people at the Oxford audition whereas I’ve never been into Mountview and I felt as if was my first proper in person audition this year I put on a bit of a show because of nerves. I also have heard many many good things about Oxford school of drama and I have a Freind who went there last year and loved it. I also know quite a few people who have done the actor musician, acting foundation (before it became certHE) and MT courses at Mountviews and also enjoyed it.
One thing that puts me off Mountview a little is, while I get on with all the people who have gone to Mountview they aren’t really “my people” whereas everyone I have met from Oxford (at least on a service level) seem like the same sort of person and actor as me.
My aim is to go to do BA acting and I guess it won’t matter in the end where I went as they are both similar courses but I am completely unsure what school will be best for me and if the simplifications Mountview will give me in terms of money and in terms of their own accommodation.
Any advice would be helpful, thank you sm

Not sure if you have made your decision yet, but I'd always say to go with your gut. Big congratulations on two amazing offers! I totally get the finances thing, and in terms of outcomes I'd say Mountview and Oxford have similar numbers going on to BA courses so it's unlikely the quality of training will be much different. If you can afford it and liked Oxford much better, then go, but obviously if money is a huge concern then Mountview would be an equally excellent course.

Wherever you end up, I hope you learn lots and have the best possible time. <3

I went for Oxford, and really enjoying it, a good balance between training and audition prep. Good to have proper acting training in the course instead of the whole course being about getting onto a 3 yr
