Is virtual work experience really that valuable?
Im a student in year 12, and this week is dedicated to work experience. I cannot get any in person work experience, and so i have been working through virtual programmes. Does it really count towards anything?

it's better than nothing. unis appreciate that its very difficult to get in person work experience depending on the subject its for. other more impressive ways of delving into your subjects are moocs and wider reading in general - i'd suggest doing a lot of those if you haven't already

It is valuable, especially if you 'talk up' what you gained from it
