I'm an international student from India and applied for medicine in Plymouth via UCAS for 2024 September intake but I failed the interview. Is it possible to reapply to Plymouth as an international student? how?

I would recommend emailing the medicine admissions staff ahead of time to confirm this. You will need to wait until after July 5th to see if Plymouth enter Clearing for medicine specifically.

To apply, you will first either need to call them up and receive a verbal interview offer or enter your details on their website via a form if available.

Okay I will make sure to confirm with the admission staff. After that am I ok to apply to Plymouth again as an extra choice? As I have been allowed to have an extra choice in my UCAS.

You also need to confirm Plymouth have definitely entered UCAS Extra for Medicine before applying to them again to ensure you are using your Extra choice effectively

I can update the first post like last year. If you find anything please post in this thread and I keep it updated.

There does not seem to be any specific times published on UCAS for this. I would not depend too heavily on the UCAS website and prioritise looking on the university website course page or emailing/calling them up

Can we call universities today or do we have to wait until results day?

Has any individual university indicated that they have medicine clearing in their website?

Universities that have spaces for Medicine will only go into clearing on A level results day (15th August). This means that everyone gets a fair chance in applying for medicine if they don’t have an offer or didn’t meet there conditional offer.

I haven’t read the whole thread but the new kings/Portsmouth grad entry collabwebsite says it is open for places via early clearing for Aug 2024 in the written para, even though the E2025 course status on the right says closed. Given clearing opened on 30th June seems tight if it has closed already. Maybe worth exploring.

If you have your grades already, then yes
Use this link for Medicine: https://digital.ucas.com/coursedisplay/results/courses?searchTerm=Medicine&studyYear=2024&destination=Undergraduate&vacancy=eng&postcodeDistanceSystem=imperial&pageNumber=1&sort=MostRelevant&clearingPreference=CoursesInClearing

Also found in the spoiler on the first post of this thread. If medicine does not show up, then no medicine course have entered clearing.

I would like to emphasise that it's important to also check the university's website course page for any information in regards to clearing, as well as getting in touch with thim directly via email or phone.
