Check out this page which outlines the entry requirements for NHS Nursing Associates which you may find helpful.
An NVQ Level 3 is generally equivalent to 2 A Levels, whereas the Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels.

Some people opt to take the Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing or healthcare professions, and then go onto university to study the Nursing Associate Foundation Degree, and on successful completion of that degree, you are able to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Nursing Associate 🙂 We offer this degree and you can read more about it and entry requirements here.

If you do not meet the Level 3 entry requirements that universities ask for, some universities will request that you have a certain amount of experience of working or volunteering in the UK and care sector (often at least six months).
