Uni of Notts vs Manchester vs Warwick for PPE

Hi I’m a year 12 student from London who wants to study PPE.
Currently on my UCAS I’ve got Oxford, Durham, Warwick, LSE and Manchester as my options.

I’m not too sure about the latter three, and wanted to ask if anyone had any strong opinions on which universities are better for PPE as a degree, or had any idea about the specialities of the department in each of the disciplines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It is not recommended to put very competitive unis as all your options. The suggestion is to have the 2-2-1 model based on your grades. 2 unis that are reach unis like Oxford, 2 match unis that you feel comfortable that you can get in and 1 uni that you know is a sure thing.

I do not know your profile but I would suggest the following:

Reach: Oxford, LSE
Match: Manchester, Durham
Sure thing: Southampton

I would recommend applying to Oxford, Manchester and Southampton early in the window. That would allow you to see where you stand with offers. If not successful, you can adjust with the other 2 choices. Good luck
