Uni in Uk vs Usa

I've heard that american universities care more about your gpa than your predicted grades but they fund more scholarships than british universities..

Any thoughts on it?

Many USA universities can provide scholarships to international students, both need-based or merit-based. GPA does not mean anything unless you're American- your GCSEs and predicted A-level grades will be used to compare you to other UK students, which is where your competition will be (not with Americans, or Indians or Chinese- the systems are too different). Read thru the pinned topics in the forum, there's a wealth of information there on how to apply, what you need etc. Be prepared to put a lot of effort in. GL

So does UK(Scotland) not provide scholarships to international students?
