The total credits for one of my modules is 20. However i was only awarded 6 credits out of the 20. Is this possible?

according to my university the total credits for a module varies. Some are 10 or 20 and our final individual project in our final year is 30.

As a 5th year open university student myself ( preparing for my 6th year ) I can confirm that all open university modules are worth only 30 or 60 credits and that there are no modules worth 10 or 20 credits.

Ghese credits are also awarded in full upon successful completion and passing of modules. I must admit I have never heard of a university awarding less credits than the stated amount for the module , totally strange.

At a typical brick uni modules are generally no more than 20 credits due to them having more modules per stage than the OU. So I assume the OP has posted in the wrong forum
