Should I apply for accommodation at my reserve option?

Hey there, Coventry University Student Ambassador here!

It depends whether you think your first choice is already at full capacity. Normally student accommodations are quick to respond, so you can if you're not sure about something, you should drop them an email.
In my experience, there's usually no need to have an insurance option for accommodation if your first choice is already sorted 🤔. However, you should make sure you do a bit of research into which accommodation will best suit your needs. I've been living in student accommodations for three years now, and one thing I've learned is that cheaper doesn't mean worse, and more expensive doesn't mean better. Every case is unique and you should choose your accommodation based on the facilities you can benefit from, location, and your personal price range.

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,
Bianca

Should I apply for accommodation at my reserve option?

Hi there,
If you're considering applying for accommodation at your insurance choice, I'd recommend checking the cancellation policy of the accommodation you're interested in. Alternatively, research your options prior to results day and have to hand the information you need should you have to apply for accommodation in your insurance choice city.

Hope this helps!
