UCL vs Durham - German

Good afternoon all,

Quick question: How would you compare UCL and Durham for modern languages (specifically German)?

My thoughts:
- UCL awards a 'named degree' (BA (Hons) German), whereas Durham appears to award the same degree title to all languages students (BA (Hons) Modern Languages and Cultures). I'm sure I'd prefer to have a named degree.
- UCL's entry requirements are ABB, which really surprises me as most top unis require AAA for a languages degree. Any thoughts around this?
