Biomedical scientist (Laboratory work)

Are you interested in a career as a Biomedical Scientist? Microbiology/ Haematology// Biochemistry/ Transfusion /Histopathology ? Do you want to increase your job prospects as a BMS specifically in a NHS lab?

Then look no further. The Healthcare Sciences course at Bradford University is your gateway to your dreams. It’s a IBMS accredited degree program with a placement in year 3, in which you get to complete the registration portfolio. The content is excellent and the course leader is very professional and organised. Please take a look at the course prospectus on the website.

Hi
Congratulations on graduating.

Trainee jobs are available but very rare and competitive. You can get up to 50 graduates applying for 1 job.

My advice would be to apply for band 2/3/4 job first just to get your foot in the door and you have a better chance as more of these positions are available.
This way you get to show your employer your worth and drive and you get experience and see what the job is about. I have know people to come in and completely dislike the reality of a BMS job.

Thank you for your advice that makes sense and I'll try that out.
