Make a revision timetable - it honestly helps so much to plan out your day. Find what time of day you study best, whether its at night, morning etc. Don't study too many hours as you will just overwork yourself, but study enough that you actually take in the information. Study efficiently too - try methods of active recall such as blurting and past papers. Don't just reread your notes - only about 10% of this will stay in your mind when it comes to exams.

Hi!
homeschooler here in same situation as you!
doing exams in nov 2024 😊 also hadn’t started revising for a lot of my subjects but getting there!

7s and 6s are super easy to get, trust me - you just need to basically understand the content.

For maths:

If you don’t already know all the topics for maths, try drfrost or corbett maths and work through the plans there - they’ve got vids + worksheets and accompanying answers

Nothing beats past papers for maths - do one and then watch a video of someone explaining the answers

If you have enough time go to the wrong answers in the last paper and do that topic in corbett maths (i.e., if you got a question wrong on circle theorems review that)

Not doing econ or business BUT the main thing for these subjects is that they are crammable so don’t worry:

Get a textbook that covers everything, preferably a revision guide bc it’s easier to digest

If you can’t get your hands on one try save my exams or pmt

Count up all of the pages (or topics and divide them by 20)

So 234/20 = approximately 12 pages

so this means you need to memorize 12 pages per day

For me I just basically read a sentence or a phrase, close my eyes, try to visuize it and then write it down - for example, if i’m learning about a cell and its parts i’ll try to visualize the cell and its parts

Cover that part of the sentence and say it

then write it down (preferably on a whiteboard, or with a pencil - i use goodnotes)

Do this for the whole page, then close the book and try and write as much as you can remember down!

Open the book and see where you got it wrong and repeat

This method can be time consuming but you don’t forget what you’ve read

Try to watch yt videos or podcasts - pick up a book on gcse business form the library and read it maybe on the bus or before you go to bed - you’re reinforcing the knowledge

Hope this helps!
Trust me, 7’s and 6’s are super easy and definitely crammable. To get from a 7 to a 9 it’s all abt exam technique, so past papers etc

DONT MAKE A TIMETABle - at least i don’t like it because it’s time constraining - instead, get the amount of pages/topics you have to do
Earlier i did 230/20 which came to abt 12 pages
So you have 12 pages to do in per day, for 20 days (or four school weeks)
Do this for each of your subjects and then make a to-do list (i use google calendar) and do smth like this:
Today:

12 pages on business

5 pages in economics

3 maths topics

1 fle past paper

and work your way through
Use the notes app on your phone to make a diary - put what time you start each subject and the time you finish completing that task. That way you know how long it will take for each task and the. you can start time blocking - but you don’t rly need to

put away your phone during study time - delete social media if you can. Get a friend to send you a couple of memes each day so you can look at them during breaks to ease stress

Check in on yourself using the diayy rt each day be honest how you did and how ur feeling, how much you have left, etc.

Hope this helps! Lmk if you need anymore help xoxo

Plus 7’s and 5’s are like 50% in a paper - so u only need to remember like 50% of the content!

P.S. If you can, tell your parents you feel you can’t do all of this in this time - get their advice, maybe wait till next year or drop a subject or maybe they’ll get you another tutor for the ones you feel you can’t do alone!

Feel free to pm me any of your work or post it on here - I’d be happy to help!
