Clearing at Manchester Metropolitan University

Clearing opens tomorrow... Eek!

Continue reading for a guide on how to make a Clearing application at Manchester Met.

Details on the process and a list of what courses are available can be found at: www.mmu.ac.uk/clearing/

You can call us on 0161 247 3000 to make further enquiries - our lines are open Monday-Friday, from 9am - 4pm.

When you call, you will need:

Your personal details including telephone number and email address

Your UCAS ID number (if you have one)

Your results - please check that you meet or exceed the minimum entry requirements that are detailed within the course pages at www.mmu.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/

Your call will be answered by one of our Clearing operators who will ask you about the course you are interested in and will advise if places are available or not. If you meet the minimum entry requirements, your details will be reviewed by faculty admissions staff for a decision.

Please note that you must have all of your results available when you call. If you do not have your results, please contact us when you have received them. For many applicants, this will be on 15th August.

Further information on Clearing can be found at the following websites:

If your application is successful then you will receive a provisional offer via email. Only after receiving this email can you make a formal UCAS Clearing application. This means that, until you receive a provisional offer from us, you can keep your current UCAS offers and don't have to withdraw your places. This offers you some security in case your application to Man Met is unsuccessful for whatever reason or if the course isn't available in Clearing.
